Attention Solitaire fanatics -- your ship has just come in! Solkan Solitaire Suite is a collection of more than 140 different Solitaire games. If that's not enough, thousands more can be created by using the customization dialog boxes for Klondike, Spider, Golf, and Forty Thieves. Another thing that sets Solkan apart is that the card decks come in different sizes. This means that you can easily see the cards no matter what screen resolution or window size you use. Cards will also be scaled up or down to fit your screen, depending on which game you play. You can customize the many sound effects the game uses with the .wav files of your choice. (No .wav files are provided, so the game uses standard PC speaker beeps by default.) Pick the background color or use any standard .bmp file for a wallpaper effect. Plus, you can create special face-card pictures. Solkan Solitaire Suite has no nag screens and doesn't time out, so you're on your honor to register the program if you like it.
